In this open and personal episode, I sat down with Din – a content creator, tour guide, and Israeli entrepreneur living and working in Berlin. He’s the person behind Berlin with Din, a platform offering immersive tours for Hebrew-speaking visitors, combining history, local life, and deeply personal storytelling.
We talked about his journey to Berlin, the moment he met his partner (yes – while waiting in line for Berghain), and how he built his own independent business in a foreign city.
It was a heartfelt and honest conversation about purpose, creativity, identity, fears, and hope. Din sees his work as much more than just a job – he tells stories, connects cultures, and shares meaningful knowledge with Israelis living in or visiting Berlin.
He shared how he got into the field, how he developed his personal method called “Okra on the Grill” (spoiler: it’s how he builds the flow of his tours), and how his profession constantly evolves alongside him. He also reveals a touching story about a family he guided twice — at two very different points in time — and what he discovered during the second tour.
We spoke about the fears many Israelis feel in Berlin, questions of identity and safety, and how all of this turns into a business, a life, and a personal mission.
This is a personal, professional, and inspiring episode – not just about Berlin, but about courage, growth, and learning to own your story.
